2004 Awards
HOMEWOOD ILLINOIS, DECEMBER 8, 2004 – The American Institute of Architects Eastern Illinois Chapter announced today the recipients of the Distinguished Building Award, The Eastern Illinois Chapter's highest recognition of works that exemplify excellence in architecture completed by members of the chapter. Selected from numerous submissions, 4 recipients were recognized at The Eastern Illinois Chapter's Annual Meeting and Award Ceremony, December 5, 2004 at the Flossmoor Country Club in Flossmoor, Illinois.
The Eastern Illinois Chapter / Distinguished Building Awards now in its 26th year, was developed to recognize and encourage excellence in the architectural design in the southern collar counties of the Chicago Metro area. The jury was comprised of representatives from the south suburban region architecture community. The jury members included Mark Rupsis, Architect, Rupsis Associates; Frank Mraz, Architect, Lohan Caprile Goettsch Architects; and Sharon Wsol, Director, Orland Park Public Library.
